Touch: Everything goes in the mouth! Baby has progressed from “reflex” touch to deliberate reach and touch movements.

Smell and Taste: At this age, a baby's diet changes from just formula and/or breast milk to solid foods. New textures, flavors and smells are introduced to baby on a continuous basis during these 6 months. Wow! So much learning is taking place!

Vision: Baby is now able to discriminate between his parents and strangers and may display “stranger anxiety.” Baby is intrigued by human faces and will imitate expressions continuously at this age.

Touch: Baby is able to hold his own bottle and may begin drinking from a cup now.

触感：全てが口の中に！乳児は”反射的”な触感から故意に手を伸ばし、触る動きへと変化していきます。

匂いと味覚：この頃、乳児の食事は人口乳かつ/または母乳から固形食に変化します。この6か月間に連続的に新しい素材、香り、匂いが乳児に与えられます。たくさんの事を学ぶ時期です。

視覚：乳児は両親と他人を識別する事が出来るようになっていて、”他人への不安”を示すかもしれません。この頃には人間の顔に興味を持ち、表情をまねするようになっているでしょう。

触感：乳児は自分のボトルを持てるようになり、カップから飲み始めます。
