伊勢形紙(いせかたがみ)とは、着物などの生地を一定の柄や紋様に染色するために使われる形紙の一つである。近年では単に染色用の形紙だけではなく、図柄の芸術性が評価され、美術工芸品や家具などに使用されることも多い。三重県鈴鹿市で主に生産されており、現在流通している90％以上の伊勢形紙はこの地区で生産されている。1955年、文化財保護法に基づき工芸技術としての「伊勢型紙」が重要無形文化財に指定され、6名の職人が重要無形文化財保持者(いわゆる人間国宝)として各個認定された。
Ise pattern paper (Ise Katagami) is one of the pattern paper to dye kimono to fixed pattern and print. Recently the artistry of the design is valued, the pattern paper is often used not only for dyeing but also for artistically-crafted article and furniture. It is mainly produced in Suzuka city, Mie Prefecture, current over 90% Ise pattern paper is produced in this area. In 1955, "Ise pattern paper" was designated as an important intangible cultural heritage based on the Cultural Assets Preservation Act, six craftsman were declared an important intangible cultural heritage holder (so-called human national treasure).
1993年には伊勢型紙技術保存会が重要無形文化財「伊勢型紙」の保持団体に認定されている。また1983年には通産省の伝統的工芸品の指定を受けている。人の手の素晴らしい可能性を私達は忘れかけているのではないだろうか。額のサイズには規格があり、ガラス部分のサイズで表示されます。このため、各作品のサイズも ガラスサイズで表示しておりますが、全体のサイズについては、お問い合わせください。作品に組み合わせる額は変更する場合があります。
In 1993, Ise pattern paper technique preservation association was certified as a holding association of an important intangible cultural heritage "Ise pattern paper". And also, it was designated as a traditional crafts by Ministry of International Trade and Industry in 1983. We are afraid we half-remembered a tremendous amount of potential of a human hand. There is a specification for a frame size, it will be shown as a glass size. So the each size of a handiwork is shown as a glass size, but please contact us about a whole size. We may change a frame to match a handiwork.
