Hip replacement surgery by a consummately skilled surgeon with outstanding high technology
Dr. Ishibe is a orthopedic specialist who fights against hip-joint disease with patients, mostly female.
Dr. Ishibe is also dubbed as “the man with hands of God in a northern region who helps one female patients after another to raise again on their own legs.”
Most of degenerative hip disease patients are female and the patients come to experience difficulties in walking. Pancreatic islet cell transplant, a cutting edge medical technology that draws an international attention.
Pancreatic islet cell transplant is now gradually spreading in European and other advanced countries as well as the U.S.. However, it is said that because of the lack of donor cells, a very few operations have been carried out for general patients so far. Despite such a current situation, the center’s alliance with a cutting-edge-hospital in China and a leading hospital in India enables more patients to undergo islet cell trasplant.
現在欧米諸国ではドナー細胞の不足から重度の１型糖尿病患者のみでの臨床がなされておりますが、その臨床成果として80％以上のレシピエントで移植後１年以内にインスリン離脱した，と良好な成績が報告された。しかし長期成績をみてみると，移植後の経過とともにグラフト機能が徐々に低下し，移植後５年インスリン離脱を維持できるのは20％に満たないことが明らかになってきている現状の中で、中国では2型の糖尿病患者にこの治療を試したところ、5年後のインスリン離脱は90%を超える結果を出しました。
Currently in western countries, clinical trials are conducted only for serious conditions of type 1 diabetes patients because of the lack of donor cell. The outcomes of clinical trial are very positive reporting that more than 80% of recipients are no longer need of administration of insulin. However, a long term outcome shows that there are only 20% of the recipients who can maintain their health without insulin more than 5 years because graft function deteriorates as time goes by after operation. Under this circumstances, the same clinical trials are applied for type 2 diabetes patients in China and and received a successful result of more than 90% of recipients who can live without insulin 5 years later.
唯、膵島細胞移植では免疫抑制剤の投与が必要となる為、術後の免疫に対するリスクがあることがデメリットとして有る事も事実です。そこで中国では国立幹細胞センターに於いて臍帯血を使った「幹細胞移植」を進めております。
こちらの「幹細胞移植」では2型糖尿病の患者の5年後のインスリン離脱率を90%以上に引き上げ、さらに免疫抑制剤の投与を必要としない、最も安全な細胞移植ということで今世界から最も注目される最先端治療とされています。
費用は旅費別で3万3千米ドル
However, it is true that there is a disadvantageous risk on immunity, since islet cell transplant requires administration of immunosuppressants after its operation. Therefore, in China stem cell transfusions are carried out with the use of umbilical cord blood at the China Stem Cells Medical Center.
