วัตถุประสงค์ทางการตลาด เป็นข้อความที่อยู่ในแผนการตลาดของบริษัท ซึ่งเป็นข้อความที่สามารถวัดผลสำเร็จภายในระยะเวลาที่กำหนด เช่น ปริมาณขาย ,ส่วนแบ่งทางการตลาด, กำไรหรือผลตอบแทนจากการลงทุน โดย ที่ดีจะบ่งบอกเป็นจำนวนที่วัดได้ในกลุ่มเป้าหมาย และมีระยะเวลาที่กำหนดชัดเจน
The company can prepare conclusion report to executives, by present only necessary data and keeps it short to make executives understand current situation of the company and use that data to decide the main objective of the company, and let each departments create their objectives which correspond to the main objective. In the report, it will focus on marketing objective of the company only.
Marketing objective is the message which is in the marketing plan, and is the message which can be used to measure the successful within specific time span i.e. amount of sell, market share, profit or return from investment. The good marketing objective can tell the measurable amount within target group and has clearly time span.
