日本の鍛冶職人Mr.吉田の工房は、江戸時代の1852年に創業しました。
日本刀の製造技術を取り入れた刃物は、大変希少な伝統工芸品です。
海外のお店で販売されている日本の刃物のほとんどは機械で製造した大量生産によるものですが、Mr.吉田の工房は昔ながらの手作りで、本来の日本の刃物の姿を留めています。
また、Mr.吉田の工房では、海岸の砂鉄から鋼を作る「たたら製鉄法」で玉鋼を製造しています。
日本古来の伝統を受け継いだMr.吉田の刃物は、末永く愛用できる逸品(ハイグレード)な刃物です。
Japanese blacksmith, Mr.Yoshida's craft workshop was founded in 1852 during the Edo period.
Most of the Japanese blades sold outside Japan, are made in mass production factory. Yet Mr.Yoshida's craft workshop manufacture the blades in old handcrafted way, so they reflect the very rare traditional craft arts.
In addition, at Mr.Yoshida's craft workshop, "TamaHagane" the blade steel, are made from iron sand from seacoast with "Tatara ironmaking process."
Mr. Yoshida's blades, preserving the Japanese tradition, is a high grade gem, which can be beloved(used) for many years to come.
