子育て中の保護者が「ヒヤッ」とした事例を「Share Your Story」と名付けて聞き取り、その結果を「カレンダー」と「かみしばい」にまとめましたので報告します。
また、東日本大震災で「釜石の奇跡」と呼ばれた徹底的な防災教育の詳細を調査し、事故予防の分野で生かすことも目的です。
２ 方法
（１）日本における子どもの傷害による死亡率が世界の中でどの位かを調べました。
（２）14歳以下の子どもについて、人口動態統計から傷害による死亡実態を年齢群別にまとめました。
We define occasions of parents feeling danger to their childreb as “Sahre your story” and gathered information on it.We are going to report our findings summarized in a form of “Calender” and “Picture card show”.
It is also one of our purposes to execute research on thoroughly disaster management education which is named “Kamaishi’s miracle” during east Japan earthquake incident.
２ Method
（１）Conducted research on the Japan’s rate of child deaths related to injury and compared it with world standard.
（２）Summarized the current situation of injury related death among children younger than 14 years.We also included statistical data of death divided by the distribution of each age group.
（３）事故予防講座において参加者から聞き取った内容で啓発品を作成しました。
（４）3.11の東日本大震災の際に防災教育を受けた子どもたちがその教育を実践して助かっていますので、その詳細を調査しました。
３ 結果
（１）日本の子どもの傷害による死亡率（人口10万人対）については、０歳と１～４歳で世界より悪いことがわかりました。
（３）Created Enlightenment based on information collected from listeners in accident prevention seminor.
（４）Researched on the details as children saved their own lives upon 3.11 East Japan earthquake by executing what they have learned.
３ Result
（１） The rate of injury related death of Japanese children(Per 100,000 population) is worse than world standard among 0 year old and between 1-4 years old.
（２）日本の子どもの不慮の事故による死因順位は、０歳で４位、１～４歳で２位、５～９歳と10～14歳は共に１位でした。人口10万人対の死亡率では、０歳で10.5，１～４歳で3.6，５～９歳で2.3,10～14歳で2.1でした。事故種別は、０歳は窒息が多く、主に口・鼻を覆われて息が出来ない事態で、１～４歳は溺れが多く、主に浴槽内の溺れでした。
（３）ヒアリングで得られた事例は、窒息・転落・火傷・溺れ・道路への飛び出しなどでした。
(2) The ranking of cause of death of children in Japan is as follows: the 0-year-old is 4th, the 1-4-year-old is 2nd, and both the 5-9 and the 10-14-year-old are 1st. As for the death rate of deaths per ten thousand, the 0-year-old is 10.5, the 1-4-year-old is 3.6, the 5-9-year-old is 2.3, and the 10-14-year-old is 2.1. Regarding kinds of accident, there are many cases for the 0-year-old to suffocate, which mainly are cases that he or she wasn't able to breathe having his or her mouth or nostril covered, and there are many cases for the 1-4-year-old to drown, which mainly are cases that he or she drowned in a bathtub.
(3) Cases obtained by doing a hearing survey are suffocating, falling, getting burned, drowning, running out into a road, and etc.
（４）東日本大震災で、自分自身の命と地域住民の命を守った子どもたちは、《１》想定を信じない《２》ベストを尽くす《３》率先避難者になる、という３原則を実践していました。これは徹底した防災教育の結果です。
４ 考察
子どもの事故は家庭内で発生することが多いですが、報告システムがない日本では事故事例が周知されず問題が認識されていません。それが事故発生率の高さの理由と言えます。「ヒヤッ」とした事例を身近なところで登録し、共有する仕組みが必要です。
(4) The children who were saved their life and the local resident's life in the Great East Japan Earthquake practiced three principles of <1> not believing assumption, <2> doing best, <3> becoming initiative evacuee. This is a result of the thorough disaster prevention education.
4 Consideration
Although a child's accident occurs in a home in many cases, in Japan without a reporting system, the accident examples are not well-known, and the problem is not recognized. That may be the reason of the high rate of accidents occurence. The system is required which example of people felt "shivered" is registered in a immediate vicinity, and share.
日本独特の課題として浴槽溺れがあります。災害時に水を確保するため浴槽に水をためることが推奨されていますが、乳幼児のいる家庭では浴室のドアに鍵をかける対策が必要です。また、「釜石の奇跡」と言われる防災教育からは、子ども自身が身を守る教育の必要性を痛感しました。５才以上の子どもには、自ら身を守る対策の指導が重要であると考えています。
最後に、SAFE KIDS JAPANの復活を願い、Safey Kids いずみも、その復活と実践に関わりたいと希望しています。
Bathtub drowning is an accident peculiar to Japan. Saving water in the tub is recommended to ensure water in case of natural disasters but, the bathroom door needs to be locked if there is an infant or toddler in your family. I realized that children need to learn how to protect themselves from the disaster, based on the disaster prevention education called, “the miracle of the Kamaishi.” I believe it is important to train children at the age of 5 or above, how to protect yourself. In conclusion, Safety Kids Izumi would also like to take part in the act and hope to see the resurgence of SAFE KIDS JAPAN.
