The proportion of external demand that accounts for Japan’s GDP remains completely unchanged after the war even though the country experienced a rapid growth. It’s always been around 10 %, explaining that the country is basically built upon internal demand. Instead of being at the mercy of only the demographics, the government should increase public spending and make public investments for the people while focusing on the future. External demand alone decreases the cultural level of commodity value.
