Nearly every team sport in. America uses cheerleaders. Many people have come to believe that cheerleaders have little to do with the game. But they are an integral part of what everyone calls the home team advantage or home field advantage. What gives the home team an advantage? Things like knowledge of the field and comfort in the environment are very helpful to the home team. Another great advantage is the large group of supportive fans cheering the team on.
The job of the cheerleaders is to get the enthusiasm of the crowd focused on the team and the players' accomplishments.
