The competitive edge
We live in a highly competitive world where everything seems to be in a constant state of flux. If our companies are going to remain competitive, we are going to have to change with the times. As a manager, you are not going to have the time to keep up with all of the changes in each area that you are charged to supervise.
So you want to have employees taking initiative, trying new things, and experimenting. And when they do that, they are going to have weak ideas from time to time.

競争の瀬戸際
我々は、絶え間ない変化を常とするように見える高度な競争社会に住んでいる。もし、我々の会社が競争に勝ち抜くのであれば、時とともに変化しなければならないだろう。管理者として、あなたは管理責任のある分野それぞれの変化すべてに遅れずについていく時間はないだろう。
だからこそ、従業員にイニシアティブをとってもらいたいし、新しいことに挑戦したり、試みたりしてもらいたいのだ。そして従業員がそうしたなら、ときとして欠点のあるアイディアを持つだろう。
