ミズキ：「よし、終わった！」
マユミの言いつけどおり、城の廊下の窓を全て拭き掃除した。
眠気はあるが、凍え死にしないように起き続けるのとは達成感が違う。
とても清々しい気分で、目に沁みる朝陽も全く気にならなかった。
ナツメ：「ふぁ～………こっちも終わったよ～………」
ナツメが大欠伸をしながら、廊下の向こうからやってくる。
ミズキ：「ごめんな、手伝わせて」
ナツメ：「ううん。でも、大丈夫？ 僕は非番だからこのあと眠れるけど………」
ミズキ：「平気だって！」
Mizuki : “alright, I’m done.”
He finished cleaning all the windows in the hallway of the palace as he was told to, by Mayumi. He was sleepy but, he felt more of an achievement compared with staying up not to die by freezing to death. He felt refreshed this morning and the glaring sunshine did not bother him at all.
Natsume : “Phew…, I’m also done.”
Natsume was coming down the hallway with a big yawn.
Mizuki : “Sorry that I made you go through this.”
Natsume: “Nah, but are you alright? It’s my day off today so I can go to bed right away."
Mizuki : “I’ll be fine!”
そう返して、眠そうなナツメと一緒に下男の住居へ戻る。
ネム：「おう。どうしたんだナツメ。フラフラしてるぞ」
フウ：「寝不足かい？」
ミズキ：「俺がメイド長に廊下の窓を今日中に拭いてこいって言われてたんだよ。そしたら手伝ってくれて」
ハギ：「おいおい、二人とも徹夜かよ？！」
ナツメ：「僕は非番だから平気。でもミズキくんが………」
フウ：「今日は休んだほうがいいんじゃない？ 顔色もあんまり良くないし………」
ネム：「でもまぁ、慣れてるだろ？」
Replied and go back to manservant's room with sleepy looking Natsume.
Nem: "Hi Natsume.You are not walking straight."
Fu: "Not enough sleep?"
Mizuki:"I was asked by maid master to clean the corridor window within today and he helped me."
Hagi:"So both of you have not slept!?"
Natsume:"I am ok as i am not working today but Mizuki is..."
Fu:"I guess you better to rest.You don't seem to be in good complexion..."
Nem:"But you are used to it aren't you?"
ミズキ：「うん。慣れてる」
貧民街出身のネムはわかってくれたようで、心配する素振りは見せなかった。
ネム：「ま、寒い夜を切り抜けたら昼に眠れる貧民街とはワケが違うけどな。無理はすんなよ」
ミズキ：「わかってる。メイド長に『勝った』って思われるのが嫌で、つい」
ハギ：「ああ、そりゃわかる」
「慣れていても無理はしないように」と釘を深々刺されてから、朝食をとった。
Mizuki:"Ok, im used to it."
Nem, comes from poor town seems to understood the situation and did not show that she is worrying.
Nem:"It is totally different from a poor town where you can sleep in a daytime after surviving cold night.Do not push yourself too hard."
Mizuki:"I know.It was just because i did not want the maid master to think that he 'won'."
Hagi:"Oh that's understandable."
Took breakfast after hearing many people saying "Do not try too hard even if you know how it takes".
目玉焼きにベーコン、サラダにミルクにパンと質素な内容ではあったが、王宮御用達の料理人が作っているのもあって味には文句のつけようがなかった。
これから動くための朝食としてはちょうどいい。
フウ：「そうだ、ミズキくん。今日の仕事はまず午前中に買い出しをお願いね」
ミズキ：「買い出し？」
ハギ：「厨房が作ってくれるのは朝飯だけなんだ。俺たちの昼飯と晩飯の賄いは一人一日五百エリクって決まってんだよ」
ミズキ：「一人につき五百エリクもあれば十分だと思うけど………」
Although it was a simple meal with fried egg,bacon, bread,milk and salad taste was amazing, as it was all prepared by chef cooking for royal palace.
Is was a nice breakfast before get going.
Fu: "Mr.Mizuki, for starting of your job today, please go shopping during morning."
Mizuki: "Shopping?"
Hagi: "The kitchen only cooks me breakfast. We recieve 500 eriku every day for lunch and dinner."
Mizuki: "I think 500 eriku per person should be enough..."
