Indian Group Buying Site MyDala.com Raises $3.6 Million from Info Edge
Indian group buying website MyDala.com, has raised second round funding of Rs 18 crores ($3.6 million) from Info Edge (India).
This follows its initial funding of 9 crores ($1.8 million) from Info Edge and Rs 1.1 crores ($250,000) from the founders of CX Partners.
Launched in November 2009, the start-up claims to be the first group-buying site in India and had recently hit the 3 million subscribers milestone.

With e-commerce booming in India and group buying sites popping up like mushrooms across the country, we assume this funding will be used to scale up MyDala’s operations and compete with its rivals like Snapdeal, Crazeal (previously Sosasta), and dealsandyou.
