怒りちらしたり、物を盗んだりすることなど、あらゆる罪は自分以外のものに害を与えます。
けれども、不品行を行なう場合は、自分のからだに害を与えます。
性病がそれです。自分のからだに対して罪を犯したので、自分のからだに害が及んでいます。
それゆえそのようなことはしないと誓いました。
パウロは結婚している者はそのまま結婚しており、独身の者はそのまま独身でいなさい、と教えているのです。
結婚とは、二義的なもので、これがすべてではない。目に見えない永遠があり、主ご自身との交わりがあるのです。
