昨年スタート時から今年までに来てくれたインターン達は下記の通り。
現時点で、来年、2015年は、すでに6名ものインターン達が来てくれることが内定しています！
当初の決め事はこんな感じ。
・ギーク学生にエンジニアとしての職業体験を提供する
・毎月の滞在費と渡航費をHDEが負担する
・共通言語としての英語が堪能であること
・日本語はできなくてよい（むしろできないほうがよい。日本語で話してしまうので。）
・期間は２ヶ月〜３ヶ月くらい
The internship members who came here since when its started last year to now are below.
6 members are already decided tio come for the internship for the next tear 2015.
Conditions are below.
▪Provide some experiences as enginers to geek students.
▪HDE pays for the staying payment and the boarding tickets as well.
▪Fluent in English as common language.
▪Japanese language is not necessary. If anything, good to be not able to speak Japanese otherwise you tend to speak Japanese.
▪The term is about 2 or 3 months.
はじめての外国人インターン受け入れを翌月に控えた2012年12月、「GIP」という長い名前のチームが組成されました。社内ではプロジェクトチームのこともインターンシッププログラムのことも、GIPと呼ばれていました。初期メンバーはCTO/CEO、エンジニア・バックオフィスから数名ずつと私。最初は外国人学生の受け入れに関する相談タイム／共有タイムがメインでしたが、すぐにセブ送りの選抜など、英語トレーニングについての議論なども始まりました。
In December 2012, which was ahead of the first acceptance of foreign interns in the following month, the team "GIP", which has a long name, was formed. Both its project team and internship program are also called "GIP" in our office. Initial team consists of CTO/CEO, some people from engineers and back office and I. At first, we spent our time consulting for acceptance of foreign students and sharing the information mainly, but soon afterward we started to discuss the selection of people to send in Cebu and English training.
GIPプロジェクトチームは1年後にはアクセルが踏み込まれて、2014年2月に「GP」に改称され、インターンシップの運用に加えて、「グローバル市場に対する理解力・適応力を全社的に高めていく」ことが目的に明示されています。
会社側の環境整備や英語トレーニングも必要になってきました。とくに英語については、そもそも私自身がこれまで公私ともに使用経験がほとんどありませんでしたし、会社全体を見渡しても、得意な人が少しだけいて、多くの人はどちらかというと苦手という状況でした。
After a year, the GIP project team picked up a full head of steam. In February 2014, it changed its name into "GP", which manifested the purposes are the operation of internship and also "enhancing comprehension and adaptableness for global markets totally".
Environment arrangement and English training by support of our company is required now. Especially, as for English, I have rarely used it whether business or personal. When I looked over the whole company, I could find a handful people who were good at English. Most of them were rather not good at it at that time.
