門司港レトロの玄関口
門司港駅は、明治二十四年に建てられ、大正三年に場所を二百メートルほど移し、現在の場所に立て替えられました。
ドイツ人技師ヘルマン・ルムシュッテルの監修によるネオ・ルネッサンス調の木造建築が今に残る、国の重要文化財です。
現在、駅舎は大規模保存修理中。

Entrance of Retro at Moji Port
The Moji prot station was built in 1891, and relocated about two hundred meters to the current location.
The Wooden building of Neo-Renaissance-style was supervised by German engineer Hermann Rumschöttel, it remains until now and is important cultural property of the country.
Currently, the station building is under large-scale preservation repair.
