More specifically, "Big Bad Wolves" plays like an extended tribute to the torture scene in "Reservoir Dogs," a description that alone should tell readers whether they'll find it appealing or not. يلعب فلم ( الكلاب السيئة الكبيرة) – بشكل أكثر تحديدا – كمقدمة سابقة لمشهد التعذيب في فلم (الكلاب الأحتياطية)، وهو وصفا يمكنه بحد ذاتة أخبار القراء فيما أذا كانوا سيجدونه جذابا أم لا. فالضحية – وهو معلم شاب طيب- متهم بالقتل وذبح عدد من البنات الصغيرات، يتم ربطه بكرسي حيث تم أقتلاع أظفر أبهام قدمية،ويحرق صدرة بمشعل اللحام،وعلى رقبتة نحتا بشفرة صدئة.أن كانت تلك تبدو وكأنها ليلة ممتعة في السينما،أذن يجب وبكل الوسائل جمع الأطفال في السيارة والمغادرة.
