アニメ雑誌『月刊ニュータイプ』2007年8月号の付録にて、埼玉県鷲宮町（現在は久喜市）の鷲宮神社を始めとした、いくつかの場所が本作の舞台の1つであると紹介されたことをきっかけに、ファンが聖地巡礼と称して登場した場所を訪れるようになった。
▼ちなみに〝聖地巡礼〟とは
アニメや漫画などの作品において物語の舞台やモデルとなった場所、ゆかりのある場所を「聖地」と呼び、実際に「聖地」を訪問すること。
宗教的行為の聖地巡礼にかけているようですね。すごい人気ぶりです。

In anime magazine "Monthly Newtype", August 2007 edition, Washimiya Shrine in Washimiya Town, Saitama Prefecture (currently in Kuki City), among others, was introduced to readers as a place that appeared as a setting in the anime, in an extra booklet. For this reason, fans started visiting this place as a "pilgrimage to the holy land".
What is "seichi junrei" (pilgrimage)?
Existing places where, in anime and comics, among others, stories are set or become a model for. Such places are called "holy lands" and are being "pilgrimaged" to.
They really do remind of religious pilgrimages. They've become quite popular.
