Gundam stories all basically revolve around war, but this time, it's about Celestial Beings, an organization using military power to stop the war.
This work's highlight is the human drama.
The paradox of trying to end war using military might causes conflict among the Celestial Beings members, soldiers from other countries fighting with Celestial Beings for their dignity and people just wanting peace.

数多くの感情が激しく入り混じる展開には、見ている人の目を釘付けにする魅力が有ります。私は手に汗を握りながら、一喜一憂しつつ視聴していました(´v｀)=３心の中で、「おー」とか「あー」とかの感嘆詞を連発してしまったことを覚えています(；＾_＾)
ファーストシーズンを経て、セカンドシーズンではソレスタルビーイングの根幹に関わる物語へと発展していきます。

The turns and twists of the plot, mixing intense emotions of many people, have the potential to keep the viewers' attention for long. As for myself, I've been watching it with fists clenched, fluxuating between joy and sorrow. I remember making those "ah!" and "oh!" sounds within my mind a lot.
After the first season, the second one turns into a story of Celestial Beings roots.
どちらのシーズンも重厚で面白いのですが、個人的にお勧めしたいのはファーストシーズンのクライマックス！！
ソレスタルビーイングが決戦とも呼べる戦いへと挑んでいくのですが、交錯する人間模様、美麗なアニメーションによる興奮には本当に身体が熱くなったように感じてしまうかと。そして、待ち受ける衝撃の展開について言えば……落涙が避けられませんでした｡ﾟ(ﾟ´Д｀ﾟ)ﾟ｡
Both seasons are deep and fun, but personally, I recommend watching the first season's climax!
It ends with Celestial Beings' decisive battle, but the excitement caused by intersecting personalities and beautiful animation makes your body temperature rise. Also, the shocking twist that waits at the end... I couldn't stop myself from crying.
一押しキャラクターは、やはり主人公の刹那ですね。彼は元反政府ゲリラの少年兵で、戦場でガンダムと出会い、その存在に強烈に惹きつけられます。その後、ガンダムを戦争根絶という概念の具現体のように捉え、自分もガンダムのようになることを目指していくのですが(* ｀・ロ・´)
物語の中で色々な経験をし、そんな彼も少しずつ変わっていったように感じられました。ひたすら「ガンダム」になることを求めていた刹那が、徐々に自分の感情や人間味を手にしていく。
My favorite character would be, as expected, the main character, Setsuna. He's a former anti-government guerilla child soldier, he saw a Gundam for the first time on the battlefield and experienced a strong fascination with it. After that, he took up the idea of Gundam as a tool of war eradication and decided to become like Gundam itself.
He has all kinds of experiences during the story and it feels like he changes a lot as a person. Setsuna, wanting to become Gundam, slowly gets in contact with his feelings and humanity.
その変化は彼の印象的な台詞からも感じ取れたかと。まるで彼の成長を、生き様を追体験しているかのような興奮は格別でした！！
ちなみに非常に目を引く彼の名前は、「ガンダム」を渇望して孤高の存在となっていく刹那のヒーロー性を表現したものだそうです。
