12月10日、11日の2日間、東京国際フォーラムで「第23回国際ミーティング・エキスポ」が開催されました。
今年は出展者の2割ほど増え、来場者も昨年を上回る3338人となりました。
開会式では観光庁長官の久保成人氏があいさつ。日本再興戦略に盛り込まれた国際会議誘致の強化など追い風を捉えさらなる日本MICEの成長を呼びかけました。
基調講演では東京オリンピック・パラリンピック招致委員会CEOの水野正人氏が「東京2020オリンピック・パラリンピック招致活動報告」と題して発表した。
"23th International meeting expo" was held in Tokyo international forum on December 10th and 11th.
In this year, the number of exhibitors raised about 20 percents and the number of visitors also raised as 3338 people which exceeded last year.
Mr. Seito Kubo who is administrator of Japan Tourism Agency had a speech at the closing ceremony. This speech is included to catch as a tail wind for the buildup of international meeting enticement in Japan reconstruction storategies and called for the development of Japan MICE.
In the key note speech, Mr. Masato Mizuno who is CEO of bidding committiee of Tokyo olympic and paralympic made a presentation "The report of Tokyo 2020 olympic and paralympic bidding activities " .
