京都市は二条城をMICE会場として開放する事業を開始する。
二条城は築城400年を超え、大政奉還の舞台となるなど歴史的・文化的な価値が高く、平成6年12月、世界遺産に認定されている。
京都市はMICE誘致を観光振興とあわせて最重要施策の一つに位置付け、全国で初となる「京都市MICE戦略」を策定している。
世界遺産・二条城のさらなる活用とＭＩＣＥ戦略の一層の推進のため、二条城を舞台に観光ＭＩＣＥの振興と文化財の保護・活用を融合させた、「世界遺産・二条城MICEプラン」事業を実施する。
Kyoto starts an open business from Nijo Castle as a MICE venue .
Nijo castle with high historical value and cultural in excess of 400 years, such as the stage of Taiseihokan, was recognized as a World Heritage Site in Dec.1994.
Positioned in one of the most important measures in conjunction with the promotion of tourism to attract MICE, Kyoto is the first in the nation to has formulated "Kyoto MICE Strategy".
For further promoting MICE strategy and further using of World Heritage ・Nijo Castle, the plan is being implemented to develop the "World Heritage・Nijo Castle MICE Plan" business, fused the protection and utilization of cultural heritage and the promotion of tourism MICE by of Nijo Castle on the stage.
