Earlier, Chinese-based source Sohu.com reported that a cooperation agreement between Facebook and Baidu was already signed.
Well, that didn’t put the rumor to an end. Now, Reuters reported that someone familiar with the subject said that Facebook has not signed any agreement with any company in China so far.
先頃、中国を拠点とする情報筋 Sohu.com によって、Facebook と Baidu の協力協定はすでに合意済みであることが報じられた。
だがそれによっても噂は収まらなかった。現在ロイターが報道するところによると、この件に詳しい筋からの情報によれば Facebook はこれまで中国のどの企業とも合意などしていないというのだ。

Both Facebook and Baidu are tight-lipped about the issue and it just keeps the Web guessing. The rumor goes on for now. I wonder what’s next, though. Perhaps talks did take place but no conclusion has been reached yet. What do you think?
