Official language(s): Norwegian Medical devices shall bear or be accompanied by any
information necessary for the safe use of the device taking into account the potential
user’s educational background and level of knowledge. It shall be stated which language
has been used to convey this information. Information accompanying medical devices to
be used by patients, including devices for self-testing, shall be in Norwegian. (Norwegian
regulation of 12 January 1995 No. 25 § 6)

医療機器は曲がるか、使用者の学歴と知識レベルを考慮した装置を安全に使用するために、必要となるあらゆる情報を添付しなければならない。どの言語でこの情報を伝達するのか、規定されていなければならない。自己試験装置を含めて、患者が使用するために医療装置に添付されている情報は、ノルウェー語でなければならない。
