That is extremely worrisome. I am afraid it is not possible to negotiate with the manufacturer without a guarantee certificate. We never ship merchandise without a guarantee certificate; there is nothing to be done if it is missing.
Also, the manufacturer warns about charging outdoors in the instruction manual. It seems the surface temperature must have exceeded 60 degrees C in the hot sun.
