Regarding the returning of the item, I gave it up from the start since I had to pay the full value of it (shipping included) to the Brazilian government in taxes as it is for all imports north of $50,00 US dollars (unrecoverable money). Still, keeping half of what I bought felt very bad business for me. And then realizing having just half of a set has no use for me.
Could you arrange with the company to send me only one mug to match the one I got, thus completing the set of 2 I had bought. It seems the optimal proper solution for this situation ("The shipping box or envelope isn’t damaged but the item is damaged").

商品の返品についてですが、全額（送料も含めて）を返金と、ブラジル政府に税金として、全ての北からの輸入商品はUSドル＄５０を（払い戻し不可能な料金）、支払わないといけないと知り、初めからあきらめていました。まだ、購入したうちの半分は私が持っていることで、今回はとても残念な取引となってしまいました。そして、全セットのうち半分だけ持っていても、使うことはできません。
販売先に、今手元に持っているマグとマッチする、もう片方のマグを送ってもらえるよう、手配していただけないでしょうか。そうすると、購入した2個セットのマグが揃うので。それが、この状況の最善の策だと思います。（「梱包の箱、封筒に損傷は無かったのですが、商品に損傷がありました」）。
