たたら製鉄とは日本古来の製鉄法です。われわれの祖先が営々として築き上げた日本独特の製鉄法で、千年以上の歴史をもつものです。
現在の日本で玉鋼を製造しているは、島根県の製鉄所ですが、量産ができないので玉鋼を手に入れられるのは、ごく限れた刀匠(刀鍛冶)だけです。
玉鋼は素材だけでも大変貴重で伝統的な価値が高いものなので、観賞用の置物としても使われています。
私たちは玉鋼を飾るのに相応しい敷物と桐箱をつけて、あなたに販売します。
Ultimate steel! "Tamahagane" figurine whose matrix is used in traditional Japanese swords and knives.
"Tatara" steel pruduction is a traditional Japanese steel making method. It has been spent for a long time to build Japanese original steel making method by our ancestors, genaration to genaration, it has more than 1000 years of history.
Currenly "Tamahagane" is produced by a steel plant in Simane Pref. only. Mass production is not applied and only limited number of Sword Master can procure "Tamahagane".
"Tamahagane" per se is precious material and has traditional value, it is used as figurine for ornamental purpose too.
We provide "Tamahagane" with a relevant sheet and a box of paulownia wood to you.
