マクロスシリーズは１９８２年に初代が放映されてから、テレビアニメ、アニメーション映画が公開されています。２０１２年で３０周年でした。
この作品で共通している点としては、「バルキリーと呼ばれる可変戦闘機による高速メカアクション」、「歌」、「恋の三角関係」です。特に「歌」はマクロスシリーズでは重要な要素になるものですよ。
