IT/Technical/General Professional Translation from English to French, Trados 2015

My first service is Translation from English to French, and due to my high training level in Mechanical Engineering and experience in IT, I have specialized in those areas, while as well translating general items.

When translating, I always made a point first to research the terminology for the subject being translated, and during my translation, I usually compile a glossary which I provide at no cost to my client when requested, so that further translation can be consistent. Any translation is followed by a full read through and spellcheck, whenever possible, of the final document, so that you get a product close from the final product if not final.

Additionally to translation, I provide the following services:
* Editing - reviewing another translator work to make sure it is perfect and duplicates the English correctly.
* Proofreading - ensuring there is no typo, grammar, punctuation or style mistakes in the translated piece and that the design matches the English original document (italics, bold, font size, etc.)
* Terminology - researching and building up a glossary of terms for a specific domain/area which will be used for any translation project.

I have 9 years of experience as in in-house French translator, translating over 7 million words in various subjects (religion, finances, cleaning, IT, education, human rights, advertising, legal, etc.) During this time, I translated ALL type of materials - Web sites, manuals, fliers, magazines, posters, portfolios, PowerPoint presentation, white papers, staff briefing, voice over scripts, subtitling, etc.

Furthermore, with a master degree in Mechanical Engineering and over 10 years working as programmer and system administrator, I am able to duplicate many technical subjects and to translate them so they communicate the initial message in proper French.
