I am an English to Italian and French to Italian freelance translator with six years experience. My specializations include the translation of legal documents connected to ecological, environmental, legislative and administrative subjects, thanks to my training and consequent experience at a translation agency based in Ljubljana. My training at the agency focused on the use of the CAT tool Trados Studio 2011 and on the translation and the proofreading of legal documents. The consequent experience was initially based on the translation and proofreading of such texts and then on the translation of tender notices concerning a wide range of topics (for instance the field of construction, amministration, health services, social services and several other areas). I also have experience in videogames, patents, Internet ads, websites and books translation.
I believe it is also important to highlight my six-month experience as an Erasmus student at the University of Portsmouth (UK), which gave me the possibility of coming into contact with British culture and academic context and also improved my language skills.
My home office equipment includes a laptop with high speed internet connection and printer. As far as CAT tools are concerned, SDL Trados Studio 2011 is currently installed in my laptop.
