日本では動物看護士として6年働いた後、夢であったイギリス留学を6ヶ月しました。
帰国後は海外への憧れがさらに強くなり、1年日本で働いた後、ワーキングホリデーでオーストラリアに行きました。オーストラリアを選んだ理由の1つが学生の頃テニスをしており、オーストラリアのメルボルンにテニスの4大大会があり、この大会を観に行く事が私の夢の1つだったからです。オーストラリアでは、アシスタントドッググルーマー、日本食レストランのウェイトレスとして働きました。語学学校にも通い、Meetupのイベントにも参加したりし、たくさんの人々と出会いました。オーストラリアには2年半弱、滞在をしておりました。
まだまだ他の国へ旅がしたいと思い、オーストラリアから帰国後はワーキングホリデーでカナダへ渡航しました。動物と働くのが好きな自分はオーストラリアと同じポジションで働いていました。カナダでは、カスタマーサービススキルを学ぶコースと大学進学準備コースの学校に通いました。現在はカナダのトロント在住です。
正直なところ、フリーランサーの翻訳者としては、初心者です。オーストラリアに居た頃に会ったネイティブスピーカーの友達に言語交換して日本語を英語で教えていたくらいです。ですが、翻訳を通して自分の英語力をさらに上げることが出来るのではと思ったのと自分のキャリアを変えるきっかけになるのではと思いました。語学学校で基本的な文法をしっかりと学び、真面目な性格上、何か自分の中に府が落ちないことがあれば、徹底的に調べます。
日本で動物病院で勤務していた頃、仕事をする上で大切にしていた事は、患者さんへの思いやりと同僚とのチームワークで仕事を効率よくこなしていくことでした。
クライアントからの依頼に私のベストを尽くし、約束の時間内に納品する事を心がけます。スケジュールは柔軟に対応できると思いますが、特に連絡がつきやすい時間帯は平日の9:30―16:30 （カナダ時間）です。
I went to England to study abroad after I worked as a veterinary technician for 6 years in Japan.
Since I came back to Japan, I adored the abroad even stronger, then I went to Australia for a working holiday after I worked in Japan.
One of my reasons why I chose Australia was when I was a student and I played tennis, there are the 4 biggest tennis tournaments in Melbourne, Australia, In which one of my dreams was visiting this tournament.
I have worked as an assistant groomer, and a waitress at Japanese restaurant when I was in Australia.
While I was staying there, I met a lot of people, joined the Meetup event, and went to the school.
I lived in Australia for around 2 and a half years.
I went to Canada for working holiday after I came back to Australia as I still wanted to travel another country.
I love working with animals, therefore, I chose the same job position as Australia whilst I was working in Canada.
I went to the college in Canada where I took the customer essential course and pathway program in Canada.
I am currently living in Toronto, Canada.
In all honesty, I am a beginner as a translator of freelancer. Through I met a friend in Australia, we exchanged the language, and I just taught the friend Japanese in English.
However, through the translation might be great opportunity for me to change my career and improve my English even more.
I learned the basic grammar firmly in the school, and in my serious characteristic case, if I do not feel right, I will thoroughly do research.
The things which were most important to me when I worked at animal clinic, was I and my colleague did our job efficiently as a teamwork, and to be thoughtful for the patient.
I will do my best with a request from the client, and I will always make a point of delivering the request on time.
I think the schedule may be flexible, but it would be easy to contact me between 9:30 and 16:30 during weekday in Eastern Time.
