Welcome to my page! My name is Val, and I am originally from Siberia. In Russia, I attended the linguistic school, where I studied Advanced English with specialization in economics, and attained FCE (The First Certificate in English Language).
Since 2005, I have been residing in the United States, Florida. My expertise is in Russian <> English Translation and Interpretation. I have been providing consecutive interpretation with elements of simultaneous interpretation, depending on the pace and and the dynamic at the local Russian-American Church since 2014, and translated, edited, and proofread multitude of materials.
Living in the US for a long period of time, I have been helping local community of immigrants with translations and interpretation services; I have translated a wide range of texts and documents; interpreted at various court appearances, appointments, and immigration interviews.
My new venture -- I am taking needed steps to obtain court interpreting credentials in Florida. Also, I'm an active member of ATA (American Translation Association).
