Susana (thefrescura)

My name is Susana and I am a freelance translator for both Portuguese and English. My native language is Portuguese but I have the English C1 level.
History
I was born and raised in a beautiful small town called Valpaços in North of Portugal, where I gladly still live today.
After high school I went to college and graduated in Communication and Multimedia. 
Afterwards I got a job working for a web tv, and later begun working as a journalist and graphic editor for a local newspaper.
While working I perfected my linguistic skills, which I aim to put into better use, and, last year, I got the British Council Certificate achieving the C1 level. I've been studying English since I was 10 years old.
My main areas of interest are movies, tv shows, comic books, video games and sports; presently, and for the last 7 years, I've been playing futsal (indoor soccer), because I truly enjoy and love doing sports.

O meu nome é Susana e sou tradutora freelancer de português e inglês. A minha língua materna é o português mas tenho o nível C1 de inglês.
Vida
Nasci em Valpaços e vivi sempre no Norte de Portugal.
Depois do ensino secundário entrei para a universidade tirando a licenciatura e a seguir o mestrado em Comunicação e Multimédia. 
Após finalizar os estudos comecei a trabalhar, primeiro numa web tv, e a seguir num jornal local como jornalista e editora gráfica. Ao mesmo tempo preparei-me e submeti-me ao exame de inglês no British Council obtendo o nível C1, que desde aí tem sido uma mais valia. Já estudo inglês desde os meus 10 anos.
As minhas áreas de interesse principais são o cinema, as séries de tv, a banda desenhada, os jogos de computador e o desporto. Jogo Futsal há cerca de sete anos uma vez que adoro atividades físicas e prática desportiva.
