4回目の研修を終えて思うこと

4回目の研修を終えて分かったことは，私はとても怠けやすい人間だということです。

思い返せば入社して5年目を迎え，普段の業務や研修そのものに新鮮味を感じられなくなってしまっており
結果として，あらゆる面において私はとても怠けていたということが分かりました。

研修に行く度に自分の力のなさを痛感し検収で学んだことを更に勉強しようとその時は思うのですが，実際腰を据えて
勉強した試しがありません。このことは普段の業務にも言えると思います。

My thoughts after completing the 4th training session.

After completing the 4th training session, I realized that I am prone to laziness.

In retrospect, this being my 5th year at the company, I felt that the regular training and tasks have lost their novelty to me.
As a result, I realized that I was being lazy in many ways.

Every time I attended the training, I felt that I was powerless and that I should study harder in the future, but in reality, I have never properly sat down and studied. This can be said for my regular tasks as well.

今回のプレゼンでは2018年を振り返り，2019年の課題を検討しました。
その際に如何に自分が2018年に実績を残さなかったのかよく分かりました。これはエンジニアとして大きな問題です。

2019年は自分と自分の会社をアップデートする年にします。
この思いがただの思いにならないように，同僚と共有します。そして同僚と刺激し合いながらアップデートを
成し遂げようと思います。次に語学研修に行くときはきっとアップデートされた自分でいられると思います。

In this presentation, I reviewed 2018 and explored goals for 2019.
During this process, I understood how I did not achieve much in 2018. This is a critical issue as an engineer.

I will make 2019 a year to update myself and my company.
To realize this goal, I will share it with my colleagues. Furthermore, we will influence each other to accomplish this update.
By the next language training, I believe I will be a new and updated self.

今日は2018年に達成したことの振り返りと，それを踏まえて2019年何を実施するのか述べたいと思います
2018年に達成したことは次の通りです
営業としての仕事を120/180日消化しました。180日は本来達成すべき目標です。金額に直すと10/20万円です
次に担当する授業の数を2個増やし，国語と数学を担当できるようになりました
皆さんは達成したことがたった2つと思われるかもしれませんが，本当に2つしか思いつきませんでした
この結果は問題で，営業として成長できていないことを表しています

Today, I would like to review what was accomplished in 2018, and what I would like to accomplish in 2019.
This is what I accomplished in 2018:
I consumed 120/180 days of sales work. 180 days is the goal I should accomplish. Financially, it is 100,000/200,000 yen.
Next, I increased the number of classes I am in charge of by two, which are Language Studies and Mathematics.
You may think that I only accomplished two things, but I could only think of these two.
This result is a problem, and shows that I have not grown my skills in sales.

では何故営業として何も成長できなかったのでしょうか？
考えた結果，プライベートが大きな原因だという結論に達しました
2018年はプライベートが非常に不安定であらゆる事に対し集中力や持続力が欠けていたと思います。これの主な原因は私の恋愛が大きく関わっているのですが，これについて多くは語りません。2018年も前年同様それなりに頑張ったと思いましたが，振り返って分析してみると思ったよりも成果を残せていないことに自分でも驚いています。これによって自信を大きく失ってしまっています。

Then, I reflected on why I did not grow in sales.
After reflection, I concluded that my personal life was a big factor.
In 2018, my personal life was highly unstable and I lacked perseverance and concentration toward everything. A large part of this was my romantic life, but I will not go into detail. I believe I did try hard in 2018, as I did in past years, but in retrospect I had not accomplished as much as I thought. This came as a surprise to me, and I have lost some confidence going forward.

これらを踏まえて2019年の目標を考えてみます
まずはプライベートを安定させることが最優先です。そのために私にとっては次の3つが重要です
1つ目はストレスを可能な限り取り除くことです。例えば在宅制度を利用して通勤のストレスをなくすことは必須です。
余談になりますが，セルフハグはストレスを取り除くのに有効です。やり方は簡単です。この状態を3秒続けるだけです。
2つ目は運動です。特に筋力をつけることは効果的です。何故なら筋力をつける過程で得られる脳内物質が自信をつけるのに有効だからです。

Based on this, I considered goals for 2019.
The main priority is to stabilize my personal life. To do so, I believe the next 3 factors to be important.
First, to reduce stress as much as possible. For example, it is crucial to work from home and reduce the stress of commuting.
On a tangent, self-hugging is a good way to reduce stress. It is easy to do; you just have to do this for 3 seconds.
Second, to exercise. It is especially good to put on some muscle. This is because the chemicals in the brain that are released while putting on muscle help with building confidence.

3つ目は良い食生活と睡眠です。これは良いメンタルを維持するのに不可欠です。野菜中心にし，良いベッド，そして静かな部屋で眠りたいと思います。
最後は良いパートナーとの出会いです。個人的にはこれが一番大切かと思っていますが，ここでは挙げるだけにしておきます。
次に2019年の仕事の目標を考えてみたいと思います。
日々の目標としては次のようなことが考えられます。英語ができないことは営業としては致命的です。強制的に英語を話す機会を設ける必要があります。

Third, to have good health regarding food and sleep. This is crucial for maintaining a good mental state. I would like to have my meals centered around vegetables, and sleep in a good bed, in a quiet room.
Finally, to meet a good partner. Personally, I think this is the most important, but I will stick to only mentioning it here.
Next, I would like to consider my work goals for 2019.
My daily goals consist of the following. To not be able to speak English as a salesperson is fatal. I must force myself to build opportunities to speak English.

従って，ランチの時に英会話レッスンを受講することを提案します。業務が忙しくても週に1度，ランチの1時間だけ英語の先生をつけ，実際に話す機会を設けることはできると思います。
業務中に実施することが大切です。これなら強制力があり有効だと思います。
また，同僚と技術的な話をする機会ももっと増やしたいと思っています。もっと頭の中にある知識をみんなと共有すべきです。
次に中期的な目標として国内，もしくは国外の技術的なカンファレンスで登壇することを目指したいです。

Therefore, I propose to take English lessons during lunchtime. Even if I am busy, I can hire an English teacher for one hour during lunch, and therefore have an opportunity to speak English.
It is important that this is during business hours; this will force me to take this opportunity.
Also, I want to increase opportunities to hold technical conversations with my colleagues; we should communicate the knowledge we hold in our heads.
Next, as a middle-term goal, I wish to stand at the podium of a technical conference within, or out, of the country.

また，当社が今後どのように成長していくべきか考えるためにブランディングや会社経営について学ぶ必要があります。これは今後社長の補佐を務めるために非常に重要なことです。
最後に長期的な目標として次のようなことが考えられます。
1つ目は自分自身の製品を開発することです。これは自分の専門分野を作る上で非常に重要なことです。成功している営業は自分の製品を持っています。もちろんこの製品はインターネットで公開します。

Also, it is important to study branding and business management to consider how the company should grow in the future. This is very important if I wish to aid the President well.
Finally, as long-term goals, there are the following:
First, to develop my own product. This is very important when it comes to creating a specialization for myself. All successful salespeople have their own product. Of course, I will make this product public over the internet.

実はこの製品は今年に入ってから開発していましたが，最近はモチベーションが上がらず開発がストップしていました。2つ目はしっかりとした自分の専門分野を持つことです。これは自分自身の製品を持つことで得られると思っています。まだ何にするか詳しくは決めていませんが，少なくとも，今年は辞書についてしっかりと語れるようになりたいと思っています。

以上が私の2018年の振り返りと2019年の目標です。

To be honest, I have been working on this product since the beginning of the year, but development has stopped as my motivation has decreased.
Second, I wish to create a good specialization for myself. I believe this will come as a by-product of developing my own product. I have not decided what to specialize in yet, but I wish to be able to speak confidently about dictionaries by this year.

Those were my reviews of 2018, and my goals for 2019.

I am constantly disappointed as I see Amazon continue to sell products.
