ALSDEAD formed in December of 2008 with vocalist MAKI, guitarist Shin, Reito on bass, and Setsua on drums. They played a number of live shows in Tokyo that month, and in January of 2009 their first single, Violent of Reason, was released. This was the first of a two-month consecutive release campaign, and the second single, S.a.g.A., went on sale at the end of February. They continued playing throughout Japan with shows lined up in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka through the spring and summer.
ALSDEAD had their first performance in the U.S. on May 29th at the large anime convention A-Kon in Dallas, Texas. In September they returned to the States to attend another anime convention, Anime Vegas. Not slowing their pace at all, they put out their third single, Paradox, the following month.
The group started the year 2010 with the release of their fourth single, Distrust, and their self-titled first full album was released in June. Along with continuing with musical releases, the band has been announced for their third anime convention in the USA. This time at Sonicon 2010 in Plano, Texas, which will take place in November.

ALSDEAD s'est formé en décembre 2008, après la séparation de Dice And Joker, avec le chanteur MAKI, le guitariste Shin, Reito à la basse et Setsua à la batterie. Le groupe a joué de nombreuses fois à Tokyo le même mois, jusqu'à la sortie de son premier single, Violent of Reason, en janvier 2009, suivi de près par S.a.g.A., rendu disponible fin février. Les concerts se sont ensuite enchaînés à travers tout le Japon avec plusieurs représentations à Tokyo, Nagoya et Osaka durant le printemps et l'été.
ALSDEAD a effectué sa première performance aux États-Unis le 29 mai, profitant de la grande convention A-Kon à Dallas, Texas.
