大学で英文学を専攻し、実務では教育研修や人材育成を専門とする企業2社で20年以上英語および英会話部門の営業職とコーディネートを担当しました。現在はコールセンターのオペレーターとして働く傍らフリーランスで翻訳を手がけています。主な専門分野は企業内で経験したビジネス一般および文化・教育・福祉の英語から日本語への翻訳です。趣味は旅行で、特に各地の温泉に癒やされます。海外は出張を含めて、これまで約30か国を訪れ、観光を通して歴史や文化を学び飲食を楽しみました。また、毎朝のオンライン英会話レッスンでは教材としてVOAの記事に親しみ、同時に日本語訳によるポイント学習を続けています。
After having majored in English literature at university, I was in charge of sales and coordination in the English and English conversation departments for more than 20 years at two companies which specialize in education and training or human resource development. I am currently working as call center operator and also as freelance translator. My main area of expertise is the English-to-Japanese translation of business in general and culture, education and well-being experienced within the companies. My hobby is traveling, especially in hot springs all over Japan. I have visited about 30 countries overseas, including business trips. I learned history and culture through sightseeing, and enjoyed eating and drinking. I am also familiar with VOA articles as a learning material in my every morning online English lessons, while continuing to learn points in how to translate them into Japanese.
