I am born and raised in the United States and have studied Japanese for over ten years.
During university I majored in linguistics and took courses in advanced level Japanese and had the opportunity to study abroad in Japan for one year where I continued my studies of the Japanese language and Japanese culture.
In Japan I was able to be involved in an internship involving both translation and interpretation for the US consulate.
