アメリカの大学でジャーナリズムを専攻していた時、大学の新聞で半年間、地域紙で半年間、インターンとしてニュース記事を執筆しておりました。
大学卒業後は、日系アメリカ人向けの新聞社で1年間、英語での取材・日本語での執筆をしておりました。
帰国後は、地域情報紙にて1年間、記者と広告営業を担当いたしました。

現在、英検で出題されるエッセイ等の英文添削の講師をしております。
また、The Japan Newsの和英翻訳コンテスト優秀賞1回と佳作4回、NHKラジオビジネス英語”The Writers' Workshop”の佳作に3回、入賞したことがございます。

日英・英日での翻訳業に携わりたいと思っております。

While I was a journalism major at a university in the United States, I wrote news articles as an intern not only for the university newspaper for half a year, but also for a local newspaper for half a year.
Following my university degree, I worked for a bilingual Japanese-English newspaper for a year, interviewing people in English and writing articles in Japanese.
Back in Japan, I was responsible for a reporter and advertising sales in a local free newspaper for a year.

I am currently working as an instructor who corrects English compositions such as essays for English Proficiency Tests (EIKEN).
I also won several awards in the Japanese-English Translation Contest sponsored by the Japan News and by NHK Business English Texbook.

I would like to be engaged in the translation both from Japanese to English and from English to Japanese.
