I'm an Italian native speaker freelance translator, interested in anything about translation and English language.
I was born in a little town in the province of Caserta, not so far from Naples. I attended a High school focusing on humanities, where I studied subjects like Latin, Greek, Phylosophy, History, History of Arts, Biology.
After the High School Diploma I attended a Biology course of study at University but then I understood that languages and translation were my destiny, so I attended a Modern Languages and Literatures course and graduated in English and Spanish, even if I work mainly with English because I've been studying it for more than 15 years now.
I got a Professional Master in "Cine-TV Translation and Adapting" and a Master in Sectorial Translation for the sectors: touristic, web, technical and business-legal.
So far I translated entertainment articles and blogs; business-legal documents for private clients; cooking recipes books; financial publications (generic); an historical light novel; unofficial games guides, user's manual and agreements.
I collaborate with agency Creative Words on PE/MTPE and LQA projects; with agency Language Burò as translator and proofreader for Life Sciences/International Development/Finance/Technical contents; with agency Savargad as translator and adapter for important Italian Sky platform channels.
I’m proficient in MS Office Suite and world wide web; I usually work with MateCat and Smartcat, but I'm open to use any other software or CAT-tool if required.
