I had been working in an IT enterprise as a computer engineer for more than fifteen years. My specialty is Computer-related technology and language pair is English to Japanese. I can translate software, hardware, and information systems into accurate Japanese.

このサイトではマイクロソフトとグーグルの翻訳エンジンを使用して自動翻訳 (機械翻訳) を行います。両社が採用している統計的自動翻訳ではコーパス (大量に収集したテキストデータ) を使い原文と訳文のマッチングを行います。コーパスの数が多くなるほど翻訳精度が上がるので、グローバル企業であるマイクロソフトとグーグルの翻訳エンジンが、自動翻訳の分野でスタンダードになることは確実です。その他ルールベースの機械翻訳は例外処理に弱くデータの収集能力に限界があるため衰退することになるでしょう。

特にグーグルの翻訳精度は著しく上がっているので通訳と翻訳の世界が自動翻訳に変わる日も遠くないものと思われます。
