国際キワニス年次総会が日本で初開催

ちば国際コンベンションビューロー（CCB-IC）が、日本初開催となる｢第99 回 国際キワニス年次総会｣の誘致に成功した。

世界三大社会奉仕団体の一つである国際キワニスの第99 回年次総会は、アジア太平洋地域での開催が決定していたものの開催国および都市は未決定だった。
そのような状況のなか、米国の国際本部と直接交渉を行ない、成田・羽田の両空港と、東京への至便さに加え、地域一丸となったきめ細かな支援と熱意が高く評価され、千葉県・千葉市が選ばれた。

One of the world three major community services, Kiwanis International's 99th annual general meeting had decided to be held in Asia-Pacific region, but it had not been decided yet the host country and the city.
In such situation, having direct negotiation with international headquarters in US, appreciated easy access to Tokyo from both Narita and Haneda Airport, and furthermore, painstaking support and enthusiasm from entire rigion,Chiba city in Chiba prefecture was elected as a host.
