死ぬということがよくわかっていなかったり、人との関係に問題を持っていたり、多動性障害があったり、何とかしたいと思っていたり、そんな要因が一緒になってこうなるのではないか、ということがわかってきます。どういうことかというと、少なくとも、子供はストレスを感じる関係を経験し、ひどく苦しんでいるのに解決法がわからず、衝動的に自らを傷つける行動に出てしまうということです。そしておそらく本当に死んでしまうということは考えてもいなかったのではないかということです。
