特殊重曹をブラスト処理した結果、全ての被検植物に対して短時間にネクロシスを引き起こす殺草効果が確認された。次に新たな実験区を設け、そこに生育している植物に対してブラスト処理を行い、特殊重曹の土壌残留性について検討した。土壌における水溶性ナトリウムイオン濃度、電気伝導度およびpHは、処理後1ヶ月に一過的な上昇が確認された。このことから、特殊重曹の土壌残留性および植物に対する毒性は小さいことが示唆された。

Next, a new experiment area was established to engage in blast cleaning for the plants being grown, to evaluate the residue of special baking soda in the ground. Water soluable sodium ion concentration in the ground and pH of electrical conduction were verified to have risen one month after treatment. This suggests that special baking soda has low toxicity for plants as residue in the ground.
