2014年、民間企業の実雇用率は1.82％。ダブルカウントや短時間労働の因子などにより、実雇用率と実際の雇用人数との割合には「ズレ」が生じる。その「ズレ」を視野に入れながら、2012～2014年、全国紙(朝日、読売、毎日、日経)を使って、実雇用率にかかる記事を検索。実雇用率にかかる正確な説明があったものは、1社のみ。諸資料によりダブルカウントなどの重要性は追認できたが、新聞記事での取り扱われ方を社会的な定着の一つの指標として見るならば、社会的な定着については十分とは言い難い。

The actual employment rate of private sectors in 2014 is 1.82%. There arises a "gap" between the actual employment rate and the rate in actual number of employment, due to factors such as double-count and short-time labor. Considering the "gap", we have searched articles related to the actual employment rate, using the national press(Asahi, Yomiuri, Mainichi, Nikkei) from 2012-2014. There was only one press which explained correctly on the actual employment rate. Although we could confirm that the double-count with several data is essential, if you look at it in a way that how it is dealt with in a newspaper article as an indicator of social acquaintance, we cannot say that it has taken hold in the society,
