基本的にYouTubeのAPIとAdsenseの併用はできないのですが
YouTube APIの利用規約を読むと「YouTubeの動画を再生するページに広告が無ければ問題ない」と記載されています
あなたのPluginのポップアップする動画をHTMLに埋め込むことができればおそらくサムネイルページには広告を表示することができると思います

Basically, although YouTube API and Absense cannot be used together, stated on YouTube API terms of use is "so long as the playing page of a YouTube movie doesn't have an ad, it shouldn't be a problem."
If you could embed the movie of your pop-up Plugin, I assume you could display an ad on the thumbnail page.
