先日、貴方から購入した商品が日本の税関で検査を受け、知的財産権を侵害するものと判断されたようです。
税関から商品を処分する旨の通知が届きました。
税関に電話で問合せましたが、日本の法律上どうすることも出来ないようです。

この度のトラブルはお互いに残念なことと思います。
私も楽しみに商品を待っていただけに、とても残念です。そこで、親切な貴方に相談をしたいのですが、
全額の返金は貴方にとっても大きな負担となると思いますので、購入価格の半額の$90だけでも返金をしていただけますでしょうか?

The other day, the item I bought from you went through the Japanese customs inspection and recognized as the item that violates the intellectural property right. The customs sent me anotice stating that the item will be disposed.
I called them for an inquiry, but it looks like there is nothing we can do about it under the Japanese law.

The trouble that has been caused this time was very unfourtunate for both of us.
I, too, am very disappointed because I was looking forward to it. Now, since you are being so kind to me, I would like to consult with you to see if you could issue me $90 refund, which is a half the price I paid for the purchase, considering the full refund would be a major burden to you?
