English

I am sorry that our translation task was in delay.

As far as our recent translation task is concerned, a sentence which stands as one by combining its clauses, could sometimes be split in multiple pieces. Does this mean I should translate one by one?

So far, I used to translate them individually as a sentense flowed, it would make it appear awkward.

If possible, I would like to submit the completed task by combining those clauses in one sentence. How does this sound to you?

Kindly advise your instruction.
Thank you and best regards!

The original Japanese in the second sentence was misunderstood. It "could not be split" but it is actually already split, and the writer is asking whether it would be OK to condense them in one sentence.
