3.บูรณาการการดำเนินการของรัฐวิสาหกิจให้มีความเป็นเอกภาพ
4.เสนอแนะแนวทางในการแก้ไขปัญหาด้านต่างๆ ของรัฐวิสาหกิจทั้งในด้านการบริหาร การดำเนินงาน และด้านการเงินต่อคณะรักษาความสงบแห่งชาติ
5.ส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนให้ภาคเอกชนเข้าร่วมลงทุนในกิจการของรัฐ
6.แต่งตั้งคณะอนุกรรมการ และคณะทำงานเพื่อช่วยเหลือการปฏิบัติงานได้ตามความจำเป็น

Article 2 : According to article 1, the council have powers and duties from the following.
1. Present policy management plans and measures to maintain the mission of the National Council for Peace and Order.
2. Nationalise and monitor the performance of enterprises. In order to the management of the enterprise is to be effective and cause the topmost effectiveness.
3. Integrated operation of enterprises to unity.
4. Propose guidelines to fix various issues of enterprises consist of management, operations and finance to the National Council for Peace and Order.
5. Promote and encourage private sector to invest in the public enterprises.
6. Appointed a subcommittee and working group to support operations as required.
