In case of stereotactic radiation therapy, the radiation is irradiated from various angles toward the cancer cell; therefore, it is possible to intensively irradiate efficient amount of radiation to the cancer cell, while minimizing the irradiation to the normal tissue. Moreover, by cone beam CT (CBCT) imaging, one of the technology of image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT), highly accurate position verification is possible.
