The 2013 Amazon pilot season was interesting but also somewhat second-tier. One got the impression that all of the programs being considered had been given the thumbs down vote by a group of executives at HBO, AMC, FX, etc. For season two, Amazon has raised the star power, genre diversity, and overall pedigree, and yet that also-ran atmosphere remains. In particular, the five young-adult or kids' programs range from merely boring ("Maker Shack Agency") to the generally awful ("Wishenpoof!"). When even my four-and-a-half-year-old son, who loves TV, can't get engaged by a flashy cartoon, it's not working.
O episódio piloto do começo de temporada do seriado Amazon em 2013 foi interessante, porém de alguma forma de segunda linha. Alguns tiveram a impressão de que todos os programas considerados foram desvalorizados por um grupo de executivos da HBO, AMC, FX, etc. Na segunda temporada, Amazon levantou o poder de uma estrela, diversidade de gênero, e uma genealogia geral, e ainda assim aquela atmosfera coadjuvante permanece. Em especial, os cinco programas de jovens-adultos ou de crianças variam entre simplesmente chatos ("Maker Shack Agency") a comumente horríveis ("Wishenpoof!"). Quando até mesmo meu/minha filho (a) de 4 anos e meio, que ama assistir TV, não consegue se sentir atraído (a) por um desenho animado, isso significa que o sistema não está funcionando.
