Hay un puñado de secuencias fuertes. El tramo del comienzo en el cual Ron reconstruye su equipo de noticias en el camino a CNN es una patada: Fantana es un fotógrafo codiciado quien al principio parece ser un rey del porno, pero no lo es; Chip Kind, el chico deportivo de David Koechner está a cargo de una cadena de restaurantes de pollo que en realidad no venden pollo, y el estúpido meteorólogo Brick Tamland es... bueno, no vamos a estropearlo, excepto por mencionar que alguien que se involucró con "Anchorman 2" ha leído "Las aventuras de Tom Sawyer".
