It all really boils down to an eternal question: Should a film depicting a member of an oppressed, in this case mostly invisible, minority group be required to explore their outlook, or should art be able to exist on its own terms? Does a film need to eat up a significant portion of its runtime giving exposure to its real world issue many are unaware of, or can it use that issue for its own narrative and thematic goals without bothering with that? It's somewhat unfair to critique a film for not being what it isn't, but shouldn't the artist offer insight into the issue his art is purporting to illuminate?

Tudo realmente se resuma a uma questão eterna: Se um filme retratando um membro de um grupo oprimido, neste caso, quase invisível, minoritário ser obrigado a explorar suas perspectivas, ou deveria a arte ser capaz ser capaz de existir em seus próprios termos? Será que um filme precisa comer sua parcela significativa da sua exposição de execução dando ao seu mundo real a emissão que muitos desconhecem, ou ele pode usar essa questão para a sua própria narrativa e os objetivos temáticos, sem se preocupar com isso? É um pouco injusto criticar um filme por não ser o que não é, mas não deveria o artista oferecer visão sobre a questão de sua arte que está pretendendo iluminar?
