Fue solo cuando hizo un hoyo grande en su brazo que entendió que seria imposible usar las herramientas pequeñas de su cuchillo para cortar a través de los huesos. Después de otras 24 horas de dolor y desesperación en el sexto día la idea y la fortaleza le revelaron lo que tenia que hacer. Con una ráfaga final de energía el pudo romper los dos huesos de su brazo y liberarse.
